Short (~50 words)

Aman Kabra is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior at Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business. He studies how people make decisions — as individuals, as teams, and as multiteam systems. He completed his Ph.D. at Pennsylvania State University.

Medium (~100 words)

Aman Kabra is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior at Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business. He studies how people make decisions — as individuals, as teams, and as multiteam systems. He completed his Ph.D. at the Smeal College of Business, Pennsylvania State University, advised by Stephen E. Humphrey. His work has appeared in Academy of Management Annals and BMC Health Services Research, and has been featured in Forbes, Mint, Times of India, and The Rockefeller Foundation. He draws on experiments, field studies, computational models, and natural language processing.

Aman Kabra is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior at Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business. He studies how people make decisions — as individuals, as teams, and as multiteam systems. He draws on the judgment and decision making (JDM) space to understand when human judgment works, when it breaks down, and what conditions tip the balance.

He completed his Ph.D. in Management and Organization at the Smeal College of Business, Pennsylvania State University, advised by Stephen E. Humphrey. His work has appeared in Academy of Management Annals and BMC Health Services Research, with additional manuscripts under review at Academy of Management Journal, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and Journal of Applied Psychology. His writing has been featured in Forbes, Mint, Times of India, Health Management, Policy & Innovation, and The Rockefeller Foundation. He draws on experiments, field studies, computational models, natural language processing, and network analysis.

Before academia, he served as a research associate at the Indian School of Business, founded an operational improvement consultancy, and managed global advertising campaigns at InMobi. In 2024, he received the Ossian R. MacKenzie Teaching Award. He holds a B.E. (Hons.) in Manufacturing Engineering from BITS Pilani.
